Mrs. Cassandra Williams Pease of Tampa, FL, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at 34th Street Church of God, 3000 N. 34th Street, Tampa, FL 33605, with Bishop Thomas Scott, Officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Mrs. Pease was a native of Florida and a resident of Tampa for 72 years. She attended Chamberlain High School and the University of South Florida. She was a member of 34th Street Church of God.
Mrs. Pease was self-employed and owned Cassandra Christian Day Care.
She was preceded in death by: her sisters, Coleatha Jenkins and Beverly Harvin.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving and devoted husband of 52 years, Howard Pease; a loving and devoted daughter and son, Anntionette G. Thornton (Ira) and Howard Pease, Jr.; grandchildren, Javon U. Thornton, Ca’vonna J. Pease, Iyana J. Thornton, and Ja’marri R. Pease; great-grands, Jaxton C. Thornton, Jeremiah L. Thornton, Brooklyn N. Thornton, Jasmine C. Thornton, and Ja’marri R. Pease Jr.; sisters, Meloudis Williams (Clark), Debra Brown, Dorothy Drew and Judy Stephens; brother, Willie Williams; Goddaughter, Ka’Juan McCray and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; other relatives, the Mobley, Hamilton and McMillier families of Lakeland, FL; devoted and caring friend, Maureen Alexis; and caring friends and neighbors, Mrs. Nettie and Ike Parham.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 34th Street Church of God, 3000 N. 34th Street, Tampa, FL 33605.
