Mrs. Catherine Marie Stevens Holmes Turgeon

Mrs. Catherine Marie Stevens Holmes Turgeon of Tampa, FL passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, this precious soul left us. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Beulah Baptist Institutional Church, 1006 W. Cypress Street, Tampa, Florida 33606.

The world is a much smaller place without her, as her presence was profoundly felt by many. Those who knew and loved her understand Cathy’s BIG personality and the loss we all feel. We are all grateful that she no longer struggles with pain. She was a maverick in her career in Spanish radio and TV; a woman who tackled many obstacles; a woman who loved immensely; a woman who achieved so much in life.

Cathy is preceded in death: by her parents, Harmon and Lois; stepfather, Warren Franklin; son, Mason David Mullis (Mary); and her sweet brother, Joseph.

She is survived by: her loving husband, Edmond; beloved daughter, Deana; sister, Cindy; brothers, John (Lynda) and James (Dorothy); and stepsister, Sabrina.

Cathy was utmost proud of being a grandparent to numerous grandchildren: TJ, DJ, Josh, Alexander, Christoper, Sean, Tim and Angel. Cathy is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
