Mrs. Christine Sails of Tampa, FL, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive AME Church, 1902 W. LaSalle Street, Tampa, FL 33607, with Bishop Dominic Watkins, Officiating and Pastor Robert Benn, Eulogist. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Mrs. Christine Sails was a native of Screven, GA and a resident of Tampa for over 60 years. She attended Middleton High School and was a member of Hope of Shiloh Community Church until her health declined.
A devoted homemaker, she owned and operated her family home daycare, where she lovingly cared for and nurtured all of her “babies.” Christine was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family.
Christine was preceded in death by: her parents, Lesley McMillian and Manson Frazier; siblings, Nathaniel McMillian, Maceo McMillian, John Moore, Charles Frazier, Thomas Frazier, Lucius Frazier, Sr., Julia Boyd, Julia Greene, Vivian Goodson, Florence Monroe, Eva McMillian, Betty Graham and Gloria Ann McMillian.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with: her husband of 56 years, Odell Sails, Jr.; loving and devoted daughter, Felicia Sails; caring son, Odell Sails, III; one and only grandson, Fredrick Christopher Lise (Lakirah); great-grandson, Brayden Sheffield; siblings, Martha Fuller, Gladys Simons (AJ), Jordan Frazier (Cora) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, God-Children, close friends and brothers and sisters-in law; special friends, Mary Brooks and Hattie Wilson; special mention, Ladies In Full Effect (L.I.F.E.) and Peace #375.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Florida Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
