Mother Clara Williams Harrell of Tampa, Florida transitioned on Saturday, November 9, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, FL 33602, Pastor Leland Johnson of Loving Hill Primitive Baptist Church, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Clara Williams Harrell was a native and lifelong faithful member of New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, where she served on the Nurses Guild, Mother’s Board, and Senior Mission Committees. Clara was a loving wife, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Annie Butts; father, Henry Bryd, Sr.; brother, Henry C. Bryd, Jr.; and nephew, Charles Dixson.
She will be forever be cherished in the lives of: her dear husband, caregiver, and love of her life, Charles Harrell Sr.; son, Tarrence Davis (Kim); stepson, Charles Harrell Jr.; sister, Pearlie Ezell (Steve); special niece, Quinnae Dixson; four nephews; three great nephews; two great-great nephews; two nieces; twelve great nieces; four great-great nieces; cousin, Forest Brown; sisters-in-law, Linda F. Harrell, Martha Wythe (Jimmie), Mary Robertson (Edward), and Catherine Campbell (Benny, Sr.); brother-in-law, Otis Harrell (Betty); and a loving adopted family, JoAnn Accurso Brown, Cathy Accurso (Howard Macfarlane), Allison Accurso (Nancy Cunningham), and Shirley Accurso Kruger (Don Kruger).
A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
