Mrs. Gail Evette Jackson

Mrs. Gail Evette Jackson of Tampa, FL, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street, Tampa, FL 33607, with Pastor Keaton J. Brown, Officiating.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Mrs. Gail E. Jackson was a native of Tampa, FL and a resident for 73 years.  She attended the Hillsborough County Public Schools and was a member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband, Jessie Jackson; her children whom she loved dearly, Marlo Albury (Tiffany), Jessica Jackson (Jerell), Michael Jackson, and Jessie Jackson Jr.; grandkids, Keosha, DeMario, Antonius, Antonaya, Antonae, Jerell Jr., Denise, Legacy, Cameron, Marsha', Michael Jr., Khie, and Ashley; her 17 great grands; brothers, Bernard Albury (Ceceila), and Lenard Albury; like a sister, Carlotta Jones; nephews, Willie, Keith, Donovan, Dontaivous, Christopher, Patrick, Malik, Michael Jr., and Tavarus; nieces, Karitsa, Dietrick, Katrena, Tarvia, Idrianna, Kenya, Ric’naisa, Kai, Karin, Shavel, Ebony, Amanda, Keba, RyNika, RyNecia, LaTesha, Shenita, and Brittany; cousins, Regnald McCall (Gail), Rodney McCall, Aquilla Keebler, the Delaugthers, Wanda Albury, Leo Albury, Freddie Albury, and Janet Albury and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
