Mrs. Ida Evette Rolle, of Tampa, FL, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
Mrs. Ida Evette Rolle, born on November 16, 1967, was educated in the Hillsborough County School District and graduated from Tampa Bay Technical High School. She later dedicated her professional career to Broward County Transit (BCT), where she was a valued employee.
She was a loving mother and a devoted friend whose kindness touched everyone she met. Her warmth, compassion, and unwavering support created a home filled with comfort and laughter. She had a gentle way of making others feel seen and valued, offering both a listening ear and wise counsel when needed.
Her love for her family was boundless, and she took great pride in nurturing and guiding those she cared for. As a friend, she was loyal and steadfast, someone who could always be counted on through life’s joys and challenges.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Kierra Cummings; son, Jerell Cummings; 7 grandchildren, Kenyon, Legacy, Mekhi, Marley, Khyrell, Denise, and Jerell Jr; 2 sisters, Sonja McDaniels and Kena Harris; 1 brother, Brion Jerry; and her mother, Ester Guyden.
Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the memories she created and the lives she enriched. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
