Mrs. Inez Rucker Obituary
Sister Inez Rucker of Tampa, FL, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610, with Pastor Prentiss Davis, officiant/eulogist.
Sister Inez Rucker was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and Christian who deeply loved the Lord and her family. She was a native of Birmingham, Alabama, and resided in Tampa for over 50 years, as a resident of Progress Village. She worked for Singleton Shrimp Company until she retired in 2003. Inez had the sweetest disposition and went through life with a giving heart. The Lord has truly gained an angel.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Clarence Rucker; her parents, Willie Jones Sr., Dollie Dixon, and Ollie Mae Jones; and her brothers, Emmanuel Jones and Willie Jones Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Linda Rucker-Lynch; grandchildren, Janae’ Lynch (Jeremy), Kammeron Lynch (Jordin), and Jayla Guyton; along with her great-grandchildren, Reese Lynch and Kori Louis Lynch; sisters, Lola Jefferson (Jonathan), Arlene Killings Alexander (Monroe), and Debbie Doakes (Daniel); her sister-in-law, Joan Jones; her brothers, Ronald Jones (Shirley), Aaron Jones, and Zale Jones Sr.; her nieces and nephews, Cindy Jones (Vincent), Christopher Killings (Charletta), Kevin Killings (Diana), Steven Pritchard, Ronald S. Jones, Zale Jones Jr., Katesha T.Cole (Tony), Edward R. Reynolds (Lakesha), Laverin S. Reynolds, Stacy Jones, Rondra Scott, Symmetris Gohanna, Tara Young, Shalden Jefferson, Latoya Woodruff, Laquicia Woodruff, and Marquita McCloud; and a host of great nieces, nephews, and family relatives.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
