Mrs. Johnnie Gallon Obituary

Mrs. Johnnie Ruth Gallon passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Spring of Life Church of God in Christ, 4116 N. 30th Street, Tampa, FL 33610, with Pastor Samuel L. Sneed, Jr., Officiating.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Mrs. Gallon was born on January 15, 1951, in Shellman, Georgia, to Mr. Earnest Sneed and Mrs. Johnnie Mae Sneed.

Johnnie received her education through the Hillsborough County Public School System. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. She also had a passion for cooking, a gift that brought joy to many and left a lasting impression on all who shared and enjoyed her meals.

Following her retirement from various occupations, including many years of dedicated service as a Glazer with Crown Window, Johnnie relocated to Rockledge, Florida, where she resided with her sister, Thelma. During this time, she became a member of Central Brevard Community Church of God in Christ in Cocoa, Florida, where she faithfully attended until her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her brothers, Joe Louis Sneed, Jimmy Sneed, and Earnest Sneed, Jr.; and her sisters, Mary Alice Lowe, Naomi Perry, and Rose Lee Graves.

She leaves to cherish her memory: three children, Timothy Sneed (Alberta), Kimberly Reed, and Felicia Gallon (O.J.); two sisters, Jannie Wilson and Thelma George; a special niece, Bonnie Hamilton (Charles); grandchildren, Kenyonta Gallon, LaKeisha Williams, Devonta Henry, Darren Williams, Mike Vanright, Jyeshia Jackson, Jyjuan Jackson, Jykee Jackson, Tequila Brim, Ty'kean Sneed, Dantavia Battles, Lakeda White, Antwanda Hendry, and Anthony Hendry; along with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Johnnie's legacy of love, kindness, faith, and devotion to family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

 

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
