Mrs. Ollie B. Stennis Williams of Tampa, FL, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Minister B. Rainge, Officiating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, FL 33610.
Mrs. Ollie B. Stennis Williams was a native of Philadelphia, MS and a resident of Tampa for 70 years. She attended Neshoba High School in Philadelphia, MS and was a member of Without Walls Pentecostal Church. She was employed by Dr. Shemberg.
Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by: her parents, William and Mattie Stennis; husband, Will Williams; son, Mr. Hermon Stennis; grandson, Roderick Sellers; 4 sisters, Mrs. Christine Earnest, Mrs. Mattie Lee Mann, Mrs. Inez Crutch, and Mrs. Asleen Brown; and 3 brothers, Mr. Wendell Stennis, Mr. James Bryant Stennis and Johnnie F. Stennis.
Mrs. Williams leaves to mourn: her children, Mr. Bernard Williams (Daina), Mr. Semion Williams, and Mr. Will Williams; grandchildren, Mr. Willie Williams, Jr. (Dana), Mr. Will Williams Jr. (Katy) Jasmine Williams (2 years old) and Amir Williams (3 months) and Mr. Michael J. Williams; great granddaughter, Emaira Williams (Rosie); great grandson, Tay Sellers; great -great granddaughter, Royalty Sellers; and a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
