Mrs. Pauline Kinsey Glymph of Tampa, FL, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at St. John Progressive M.B. Church, 2504 Chipco Street, Tampa, FL 33605, with Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Pauline was born on April 11, 1940, in Lamont, FL, to Randolph Kinsey, Sr. and Rebecca Kinsey. She was a native of Tampa and attended the Hillsborough County Public Schools.
She continued her education at the University of South Florida, earning a degree in Elementary Education. Pauline worked as an elementary teacher for over thirty years for the School District of Hillsborough County. Throughout her life, Pauline poured into the lives of countless children, not only through education, but through her patience, wisdom, and belief in their potential. She understood that teaching was more than a profession. It was a calling. She was also involved in the 4H Club, Girl Scouts and the Sulphur Springs Parent-Teacher Association.
In the 1950’s, she met and married Deacon Earl Glymph, and they were blessed with two daughters. She was a loving wife, a caring mother and a nurturing grandmother. From an early age, Pauline carried a spirit of kindness, dignity, and compassion that would become the hallmark of her life. She was the kind of woman who made her family stronger, her community better, and her faith visible through the way she lived.
Pauline, a devout Christian, looked to God for wisdom, strength, and direction. She strengthened her spiritual growth at Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Southside Church of Christ, and Temple Crest Church of Christ.
Pauline was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, brother, and several sisters and brothers-in-law.
Though her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who loved her, she leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and love with: her daughters, Audrey Glymph, and Cassandra Glymph; grandson, Caleb Earl Glymph; sister, Ellen Kinsey; brothers, Sam Kinsey (Alma), Herbert Kinsey, and Joseph Kinsey (Catherine Jones); sister-in-law, Bernestine Glymph; brother-in-law, Harvey Glymph; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Ave., Tampa, FL 33606.
