Mrs. Sylvia Masha Jefferson

Mrs. Sylvia Masha Jefferson of Tampa, FL passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Mount Zion AME Church, 7401 S. Kissimmee Street, Tampa, FL 33616 with Reverend James T. Golden, Officiating. 

Mrs. Jefferson was a native of Tampa, FL and a resident for 77 years.  She attended Howard W. Blake High School and graduated in the Class of 1966.  She was a member of Mount Zion AME Church and was employed as a Nurse for many years at Tampa General Hospital.

Mrs. Sylvia is preceded in death by: her parents and sister, Saundra.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories:  loving and devoted husband, Stanley Jefferson; stepchildren, Brandon and Erin Jefferson; brother, William Masha (Donna); sister, Mercedes Masha-Jones (Ronald, Sr.); mother-in-law, Ruth Jefferson; two devoted nieces, Crystal Williams and Joye Brown; devoted cousin, Benard King; extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins; and special family and friends, the Kings Johnson and Sheffield’s.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
