Tameeka Wallace, of Valdosta, Georgia, peacefully joined our Heavenly Father on Monday, April 6, 2026. She was born on September 14, 1980, in Tampa, Florida, to Rudolph D. Williams Sr. and Patricia A. Williams. She was a proud Tampa native who attended Hillsborough County Public Schools and carried the strength, warmth, and resilience of her upbringing with her throughout her life.
Tameeka was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dario Wallace; her grandmothers, Alma C. Simmons and Yvonne Sanders; her grandfathers, James Sanders and Herman Williams Sr.; her uncles, Herman Williams Jr. and Joshua J. Simmons; and her aunt, Chinetta Williams.
More than anything she accomplished, it was Tameeka’s character that defined her. She was a beautiful soul whose love, strength, and genuine spirit touched everyone blessed to know her. Her generous heart was always open to others, whether through a listening ear, a kind word, or a helping hand. She had a bright, gentle spirit and a quiet resilience that carried her through life’s challenges and inspired those around her.
Those who knew Tameeka will remember her laughter, her unwavering love for her family, and the way she made everyone feel seen and valued. Her presence brought comfort, her words brought encouragement, and her faith and perseverance were a testimony to the woman she was.
Tameeka leaves to cherish her memory two beloved children, Macayla Wallace and Emmanuel Wallace, who were her greatest joy and deepest pride; her devoted mother, Patricia Williams; her father, Rudolph Williams Sr. and his wife, Catherine; and her loving siblings, Denisce Williams and Rudolph Williams Jr. and his wife, Kendra. She also leaves behind her grandfather, Russell B. Simmons Sr., and his wife, Patricia, who loved her dearly.
She also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephews: Layla, Trinity, Lionel Jr., Willie Jr., Travoris II, Londyn, and Octavia, who were the light of her life and the center of her world. In addition, she leaves a host of aunts and uncles who adored her, and a host of cousins who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Though Tameeka is no longer with us in body, the love she gave, the kindness she showed, and the memories she created will live on in all who knew and loved her.
