Mrs. Telecia Mention-Davis

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Telecia Michelle Mention-Davis, beloved resident of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2024, at the age of 58. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at The Center for Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610 with Pastor Rodney Norton, officiating.

Telecia Michelle Mention-Davis was born on December 18, 1966, and touched the lives of many with her warm smile and kind heart. Her radiant smile lit up any room she entered. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, dancing, and playing games. She lived life to the fullest and especially loved spending time with her family and friends. Telecia will be remembered for her passion for helping others and her unwavering strength in the face of adversity. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire those who knew her. Telecia was a loving Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Niece and a beautiful soul who would help anyone. May her soul rest in peace as her memory lives in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Telecia was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Pearlie Mae and Joe Richardson, and Janie and Morosa Mention.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband of 13 years, Kristopher Davis Sr.; parents, Willie Mae and Major Mention Sr.; daughter, Tarshemia Martin; son, Eric Chapman Jr. (Ja'Nisha Chapman); stepson, Kristopher Davis Jr.; brother, Major Mention Jr. (Betty Mention); God sister, Telma Sims; grandchildren, Jaquez Martin Sr. (Tazia Roberts), Ja'Marion Strange, Jalecia Strange, Eric Chapman III, Janelle Strange, and Ezkiel Chapman; great grandchild, Jaquez Martin Jr.; nephew, Brandon Mention; mother-in-law, Marlene Davis; brother-in-law, Vincent Davis; uncle- in-law, Ricky Davis and Wife; aunt-in-law, Valerie Davis; and a host of relatives and special friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
