Mrs. Theresa "Peaches" Clark

Mrs. Theresa “Peaches” Clark of Tampa, FL, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Allen Temple AME Church, 2101 N. Lowe Street, Tampa, FL 33605, with Reverend Dr. Glenn B. Dames, Jr., Officiating.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Mrs. Theresa “Peaches” Clark was a native of Tampa, FL and a resident for 83 years.  She attended St. Peter Claver Catholic School, Howard W. Blake High School, Erwin Vocational Technical Center and Hillsborough Community College.  She was a member of Allen Temple AME Church and was employed for 40 years, retiring as a Registered Nurse at Tampa General Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Clark Sr.; her parents, James and Julia McVely; her grandparents, Edward and Elizabeth Bowles and Charlie Wyche; and her sister, Patricia C. Malphus.

She leaves to cherish her memory:  children, Valerie Clark, Bridgette Clark, Sheryl Clark, and Bernard “Tiger” Clark Jr., (Tammy); brother, Herbert Jones; brother-in-law, Wilbert Malphus; nieces, Valerie Goodman and LaVonne Nelson (Twain); nephew, Wilbert Malphus Jr.; grandchildren, Carl Gallon (Ariale), Brittney Clark and Brandon Clark (Kashinta); great-grandchildren, Decari Wilson, Zion Gallon, Ziaire Gallon, Chyna Gallon, Jhulyan Clark, Drew DeBose and Karson DeBose and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Allen Temple AME Church, 2101 N. Lowe Street, Tampa, FL 33605.
