Mrs. Valerie Inez Tramel

Mrs. Valerie Inez Tramel of Tampa, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street, Tampa, FL 33607 with Interim Pastor Minister William Cade, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Valerie Tramel was a native of Tampa, FL, and a resident of Tampa, FL for 64 years. She attended Robinson High School, was a graduate of Brewster Technical School, and was a member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed as a Sales Agent for Macy's and Dillard’s in International Mall.

Valerie was preceded in death by: her father, Mr. Robert Bivens Jr.; brother, Stephen A. Bivens; grandmothers, Essie Mae Bivens and Lula S. Haywood; and nephew, Saint Cross Felton.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Leroy Tramel; children, Leroy Jr. (Debbie), Morocco, Jasmine (Kendra), Ebony (Steve), and Essence; 21 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; mother, Mary Haywood Bivens; sisters, Rita Thomas, Karoly Bivens, and Robin Weary (Kenny); uncles, David Mohamed (Erma), John (Sharon), and Ray (Jacky); aunts, Betty Scheir, Laurine Jacobs, and Jean Ellen Bivens Jones; sister-in-law, Jennifer Madden Bivens; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street, Tampa, FL 33607.
