Ms. Bernice Fedrick Obituary

Celebration of Life for Ms. Bernice Fedrick will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, 12:00 p.m. at Brown Memorial Church of God in Christ, 2313 E. 27th Avenue, Tampa, FL 33605, Bishop Anthony W. Gilyard, Pastor and Eulogist, Superintendent Major C. Jones, Life Point Church, Officiating. The Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Ms. Bernice Fedrick was born June 13, 1954, to the late Joe and Mary Lou Fedrick in Americus, Georgia. Bernice was affectionately known as “Bern”. Bernice worked as a Supervisor for Fingerhut for several years. She also worked in the medical field as a CNA. Her LOVE was being a Van Driver for Daffie’s Family Child Care Home/Kingdom Kids Learning Center of Tampa for over 13 years.

Bernice was a member of Brown Memorial Church of God in Christ under Bishop Matthew Williams's leadership and an online member under Bishop Anthony Gilyard's leadership.

Bernice departed this life on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, with her nieces Harriette and Daffie at her bedside.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Joe Fedrick and Mary Lou Fedrick; 3 brothers, Ross Fedrick Sr., Melvin Fedrick, and Leoties Fedrick-Sr; sister, Daisy Belle Vance; brother-in-law, Thomas (T.J) Young; and sisters-in-law, Mary Grace Fedrick and Francis Fedrick.

Bernice leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted sister, Lonnie Young, brother, John L (Deborah) Fedrick; sister-in-law, Maryann Fedrick; nieces and nephews, Elmott Vance-Jr, Harriette (Gregory) Jackson, Daffie (Ted) Baker, Terald (Lawanda) Young, Tenecia (Claude) Strong, Felicia (Calvin) Glover, Debra (Michael) Richardson, Leoties Jr. (Cynthia) Fedrick, Lajunia (Kenneth) Crowell, Lavurnia (Alonzo) Perkins, Kelvin (Belinda) Fedrick, Kenneth (Brigitte) Fedrick, Adrian (Treanedra) Fedrick, Michael, Antonio Fedrick, Tammy (Blair) Fedrick-Bass, Tangela (Terriance) Fedrick-Gilmore, Rita, Craig, Jennifer, and Ross-Jr Fedrick; Goddaughter, Monique Wallace-Lucas; special friend, Beverly Weaks; extended families, The Fedrick Family, Singletary Family, Brown Memorial Church of God in Christ Family; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and the Progress Village Crew.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
