Ms. Brenda Williams Obituary

Ms. Brenda Faye Williams of Lutz, FL passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Bible Based Fellowship Church, 4811 Ehrlich Road, Tampa, FL 33624 with Rev. Dr. Anthony C. White, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Ms. Brenda Fay Williams was a native of Detroit, Michigan, and a resident of Tampa for 30 years. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a BSN Nursing, Realtor and Real Estate Broker, and was a member of Bible Based Fellowship Church and the Florida Board of Nursing. She was employed at Tampa General Hospital for 30 years. Brenda Faye Williams was a Christian woman who loved God and enjoyed helping and serving all people. She will be cherished and loved by us all and we will truly miss her.

She was preceded in death by: her son, Jerry Burgess Jr.; siblings, Sam Carroll, Beverly Parker, and Belinda Hurst.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving and devoted daughters, Lelia Nwabunor and Megan Durham; stepdaughter, Vicky Johnson; grandchildren, Leerenzo Johnson, Deenisha Johnson, Leejah Johnson, Jabari Burgess, Arieance Durham Jr. (AJ.), Ahmad Durham, Amari Burgess, Sannye Durham, Xavier Durham, Darius Durham, Dustin Nwabunor; sibilings, Nemiaha Carroll , Devvoy Carroll, Horace Kevin Bowers, Kathleen Greenidge, Mary Ann Owen’s, Sydney Bowers, Phillip Bowers, Jan Bowers Thomas, and Jonathan Bowers; aunt, Thelma Parker; son-in-law, Arieance Marquis Durham Sr.; cousins, Tyrone Bowers, Thomas Hills, Herbert Bowers Sr., and Herbert Bowers Jr.; nieces and nephews, Travis Hills, Tawni Addison, Deveren Addison, Terrence Addison, Camille George, Lakeesha Cross, Cicely Parker, Jenese Parker, Tanisha Carroll, Rodney Addison, Valarie Conyers, Jasmine Conyers, Keith Addison, Justin Hurst, and additional niece and nephews; close Friends, Mrs. Willie Mae Leverette, Mrs. Brenda Allen, Mrs. Sarah Johnson, Mrs. Saundra Lyons, Mrs. Delrose  Brown, Mrs. Ann Wynn, Mrs. Irene Campbell, and Skip Carwell; and so many other cherished friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
