Ms. Brenda Faye Allen-Bass

Mrs. Brenda Fay Allen-Bass of Tampa, FL, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.

Mrs. Brenda Faye Allen-Bass was born on April 27th, 1954, to Mr. Jessie and Clara Allen of Tampa, Florida. Mrs. Brenda Fay Allen-Bass was a native of Tampa, FL, for 71 years. She attended school in the Hillsborough County Public School system.  Mrs. Brenda Faye has worked as a Chef for most of her life.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Jessie and Clara Allen; brothers, Buford Allen and Jessie Allen Jr.; and nephew, Derrick Allen.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Willie Marcus Bass; son, Wali Bass; five grandchildren, Jazmine Bass, Javontae Bass Sr. (Naylani), Jalen Bass, Aurea Bass, and Jakeem Bass; two great-grandchildren, Javontae Bass Jr. and Ja'Khari Bass; two sisters, Barbara J. Brown and Bernita C. Dove; three nieces, Ebony L. Gibson, Ida Lynn Smalls, and Anichia L. Allen; eight nephews, Maurice C. Fluker Sr. (Selena), George R. Dove Jr., Bryron Allen, Aaron M. Smith Sr. (Constance), Michael A Huggins (Gina), Brian T. Myers (Alisha), Buford G. Myers, and Jessie Myers (Lucy); and a host of other cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 08, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
