Ms. Cassandra Moore Obituary

Ms. Cassandra La Vonne Moore of Riverview, FL, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Pastor Donald Lott, Officiating.

Ms. Moore was a native of Brooklyn, NY, and a resident of Tampa, FL, for 21 years. She attended Springfield Gardens High School in Queens, NY, and was a member of First A.M.E. Zion Church in Brooklyn, NY. She was employed as a security guard at Securitas.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her two sons, Jamal (Stephanie) Hyacinthe and Jahari Hyacinthe; her siblings, Marion Moore, Jr. and Vanessa Moore Charles; her many cousins, including Sherry Toubin, Grace Spears, and Lenny Spears, who were exceptionally close to her; her aunts, Mildred McCoy Lawless and Ernestine Moore; her bestie, Cynthia Dow; her in-laws, Michelle Hyacinthe and Andre (Sandra) Hyacinthe; her nieces, Jordan Charles, Aaliyah Hyacinthe, Alexis Hyacinthe, and Ayana Laurent; and a host of extended family and dear friends whose lives she touched in lasting ways.

 

Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
