Ms. Charlotte Alicia Tumbling

Ms. Charlotte Alicia Tumbling, 71, of Tampa, FL passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025.  Funeral services will be held Saturday March 29, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Mount Olive AME Church, 1902 W. LaSalle Street, Tampa, FL 33607 with Rev. Percival Brown, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Charlotte Alicia Tumbling was born in Tampa, FL to Martha Jones and Dennis Tumbling Sr. on August 15,1953. She was educated by the public schools of Hillsborough County.  Charlotte was employed as a Nurse Assistant for 20+ years at South Tampa Rehabilitation Center and retired. Charlotte loved walking, traveling, and vacationing on the beaches of Florida.

Charlotte was preceded in death by: her parents, Martha Jones and Dennis Tumbling Sr.; sisters, Deborah Jones and Cheryl Jones; brother, Moses Killins; grandmother, Viola Graham Jones; grandfather, Willie Jones; aunt, Mary Stephens; uncles, William” Billy” Jones and Henry Graham; niece, Marquita Frith; and cousin, Naomi Stephens.

 In her memory, she leaves to cherish her memories: her three amazing sons, Michael Jones Jr. (Tonia), Erron Joseph Sr. (Desiree), and Jimmie Warren III; devoted and loving companion, Jimmie Warren Sr.; granddaughters,  Alayna Rivera, Mi’kela Jones, Mya Joseph, Malika Jackson, and Nyree Peterson; grandsons, Landan Warren, Jace Warren, Erron Joseph Jr., Myron Joseph, Jarvis White, and Deandre Reedy; great grandchildren, Jarvis White Jr., Andre Reedy Jr., Masih Joseph, Erron Joseph III, and Cailee Johnson; sisters, Denise Faggett, Sonja Thomas (Tom), Tequila Wheeler, and Karen Scott; brothers, Dennis Tumbling Jr., James Taylor, Lima Killins, and Donnie Killins Sr.; nieces, Yamika Faggett, Carnetta Buie, Ashley Rivers, Nakisha Mann (Albert),  Demetrie Sharpton, Kiera Wheeler, Deja Strong, Zena Scott, and Joquila Fussell; nephews, Terranton Hunt, Eric Chapman, James Taylor Jr., Tommie Thomas (Stephanie), Erik Jones, Donnie Killins Jr. (Shakiera), Arshea Wheeler, Andre Scott, and Javonne Taylor; great nieces,  Porsche Oglesby (Sam), Corvette Faggett, Treniece Hunt, Teraniesha Hunt, Charkil Ware (Jalen), Danielle Sharp, Makala Williams, Erykah Jones, Tilliesha Williams, Michelle Williams, Andrea Scott, Morriana Everett, Kamonnie Killins, Mariah Griffith, Ar’miah Ware, Messiah Davis, Antonio Davis, Salmilah Oglesby, and Ja’Niya Burden; grand nephews, Mercedes Faggett, Jermaine Davis, Denzel Davis, Charles Killins, Terranton Hunt Jr., Lamarde Hickman, Eric Chapman Jr., Erik Jones Jr, Costello Jones, Walter Lynn III, Monricoh Whitaker, E’vante Martin. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
