Ms. Daveda Grace Jefferson

Ms. Daveda Grace Jefferson of Tampa, FL passed away on Monday, November 3, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Mount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street, Tampa, FL 33607.

Daveda Grace Jefferson attended Reese’s Adult Program for many years. She made many friends and enjoyed her days with them having fun. She was a faithful member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church for 10 years under the leadership of Pastor T.D. Leonard. Her favorite saying was, “I love you; you love me, and I got it”. She loved everyone and loved math. She was a collector of pens and pencils.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Walter C. Jefferson Sr. and Viola McCloud Jefferson; brother, Walter C. Jefferson Jr.; and uncles, Lee Jefferson and Norman Jefferson (Vera).

She leaves fun memories with: her aunt, Ruth Jefferson; sister-in-law, Lucinda Jefferson; nephew, Walter C. Jefferson III of Houston, Texas; great nieces, Za’wyaih and A’melia Jefferson; cousins, Stanley A. (Sylvia) Jefferson, Belinda, Rose, John, Larry, George, Jamal, Lakeria, Jamesha, Kia, and Jazlgar; close friends, Ethel McGill, B.J. Haynes, and Beverly Brown and family;  staff at Manhattan Nursing Home; Reese’s Adult Program; Mt. Tabor M. B. Church Family; and a host of friends, caregivers, and other family members.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
