Ms. Debbie Mae Henigan of Tampa, FL, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Pastor John K. Henigan Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Debbie was born in South Carolina on April 16, 1955, to Paul and Johnnie Mae Henigan. She was the second of four children and was raised in Port Tampa, FL, with her mother and siblings.
Debbie, who attended Robinson High School and graduated in the Class of 1973, was brilliant and earned high marks in her classes.
Debbie continued her education and earned certification in Child Care. She worked as a Child Care Specialist at Metropolitan Ministries for over 10 years. She then became employed at Next Generation Kids Early Childhood Learning Center. Throughout her career, she consistently demonstrated her unwavering commitment to the children in her care.
Waiting at the River for her homecoming is her father, Paul; mother, Johnnie Mae; grandmother, Mae; and grandfather, Jim.
Debbie leaves two sons, Nathaniel Henigan and Rashad Moore; two grandchildren, Natalie Henigan and Xandria Henigan; great- grandchild, Xylia Johnson; sister, Mary Bunche (Al); brother, Pastor John K. Henigan (Mary) and Timothy Howard; special nephew and niece, Freddie Williams Jr. and Alvina Bunche; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
