On August 28, 2024, Deborah departed this life for a better one and quietly and peacefully fell asleep in the care of her savior.
Deborah Alexander was born August 3, 1955, in Brooklyn, NY to the late Eva Mae McCray and Albert Alexander. She was educated in the Kings County School system. She moved to Tampa in 1980, and later she worked at Bisk Education. Deborah Alexander was a member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on Usher Board #1. Deborah enjoyed reading the Bible and caring for her family.
Deborah was preceded in death by: her sisters, Anne Rose Alexander and Sharon Alexander-Johnson; and nephew, Leroy Idris Alexander Deboue.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughters, Shanae Alexander and Desiree Alexander; granddaughters, Kaliyah Alexander and KenMoni Morris; great-grandson, Khalil Alexander; devoted niece/sister, Tomeka Brown- Washington (Leroy); great-nephews, L. Khiri Washington (Nehal), Malakai Washington, Quentin Deboue, Xavier Deboue, and Kahmar Deboue; great-niece, De’Yani Washington; cousins, Rayfield McGhee of Miami Fl, Demoris Rhodes, Gloria Blackwell (Milton), and Audrey Fisher; devoted friends, Norissa Wise (Stanley), Ruth Baity all of Brooklyn, NY, Luisa Aymerich of NY, and Cathy Britt of Norcross, GA; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
