Ms. Diana Moore of Tampa, FL passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her children and loved ones on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Exciting Faith Church, 5705 E. 32nd Street, Tampa, FL with Rev. Antonio Hawkins, Officiating. Interment will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Diana Moore was born and raised in Tampa, FL and graduated from Tampa Bay Technical High School. After graduating, Diana immediately entered the work force as an entry level Customer Service Representative and began supporting her children. She later married her Ex-husband where he joined the US Army and relocated their family and was stationed outside of Frankfurt, Germany in Europe for several years.
It was a few years later where she would find her true and permanent passion, which was doing Data Entry for the U.S. Postal Service. There she remained as a faithful Federal employee for well over 30 years until her recent well-deserved retirement in 2023.
Some of Diana's favorite past times were spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family. She loved to travel to many destinations and vacationing at many different resorts with her family with Orlando being her favorite. She worked very hard to maintain her lifestyle and treat herself to the things she so desired. Some of the many things that brought her joy were good shopping, fine dining, and going to many concerts just to name a few.
After being a Breast Cancer survivor, the Lord chose to pick our beautiful flower, Diana, and called her home to be in his forever garden.
Diana is preceded in death by: her father, Rev. Bennie L. Jenkins Sr.; mother, Irene Pierce Jones; and sisters, Martha L. Jenkins and Delores Marshall.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories: her loving sons, William Brown Jr., Clarence Brown, Daniel Brown, and James Brown; daughter, Ebony Moore; grandchildren, Thalia Brown, Markesia Brown, Clarence Brown Jr., Asija Brown, Tera Brown, James Brown Jr., Chandler Brown, Shaniece Brown, Jaleah Mitchell, Kenji Brown, Romello Brown, Julius Mitchell, and Kaiden Brown; brothers, Bennie L Jenkins of Ocala, FL and Craig Jenkins of Atlanta, GA; sister, Hannah Jenkins; aunts, Liza Tarver of GA, and Barbara McCray; nieces, Chole Jenkins and Cache Jenkins; nephews, Terry K.
