Ms. Dorothy Hernandez-Shamburger of Tampa, FL passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 with Rev. Jeffrey Johnson, Officiant/Eulogist. Interment will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Ms. Dorothy Hernandez-Shamburger was a lifelong Tampa resident. She was a Middleton High School graduate.

She is preceded in death by: her son, Eugene (Randy) Hernandez; parents, Eugene and Lula Mae Hernandez; sisters, Vernice Hernandez-Paige, Wilhelmenia Hernandez-Allen, Shirley Hernandez-Warmack, and Valerie Hernandez; and brother, Charles Hernandez.

She is survived by: her life partner, Alvinn Walters; son, Antoine Hernandez; daughters, Felicia Hernandez and Tamara Shamburger; sisters, Gwendolyn Gordon and Janice Hernandez-Stevens; brothers, William Keith Hernandez and Anthony Pittman (Annie); three generations of adoring grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, close family, and caring friends.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
