Ms. Dorothy Sipp of Tampa, FL departed this earthly life on Sunday, September 17, 2023. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue Tampa, FL 33606. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Ms. Dorothy Sipp, fondly known as “Dot,” was born on May 7, 1950, to the late Jo Willie Riles and Mary Riles. She was a native of Quincy, FL, and a resident of Tampa for over 50 years. She was educated in the Gadsden County public school system. Dorothy loved being surrounded by her loving family and friends. She had a heart of gold and sought to love everyone.
Dorothy was preceded in death by: her daughter, Tanya Blair; parents, Jo Willie Riles Sr. and Mary Riles; sisters, Vera Moten and Mae Emma Carter; and brothers, Joseph Riles, Jo Willie Riles Jr., Ricky Riles, and Sylvester Riles Sr.
She leaves to cherish life and precious memories with: her spouse, JB Sipp; loving children, daughters, Felecia Blair, Bridget Sipp, and Karen Sipp; son, Gregory Ford; granddaughters, Shanakia Ash, Jonnishia Sims (Fred), Kachina Blair, Runeshia Blair, Sequoiah Byrd, Bernadis Kelly, and Antonia Powell; grandsons, Frederick Ford, Walter Pickens, Tovorius Blair (Annette), Karijamah Mosley, Jivorius Young, and Terrance Brown; sisters, Della Favors, Bernice Martin, Mary Riles, Quincy, FL, and Bernice Lee Riles, Palmetto, FL; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
