Ms. Dorothy H. Washington

Dorothy Washington, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of unconditional love and devotion.

Born on December 25, 1936, Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Mattie Mae Robinson.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Derek Washington and Kimberly Alford; grandchildren, Chelsey (Isaac) Molina, Kendall Alford, and Denise Cooksey; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Delores Hall; niece, Traci Hall and a host of extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness and spirit.

Dorothy will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the deep love she shared with everyone she met. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
