Ms. Elizabeth Thompson

Ms. Elizabeth “Honey” Thompson of Tampa, FL passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Garden, 4025 W. Palmetto Street, Tampa, FL 33607 with Reverend A.W. Greene, Officiant. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Elizabeth Thompson was a native of Wadley, GA, and a resident of Tampa for 64 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lincoln Garden and was employed with Valencia Gardens for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Hayman and Willie Lee Thompson; siblings, Eddie Mae Thompson, and James Thompson; and grandson, Antonio Hunter.

She leaves precious memories to be cherished with: her children, Gail Williams, Anthony Thompson, and Darrell Thompson; siblings, Aretha Alford, Lonnie Thompson (MaryAnn), and Shirley Thompson; grandchildren, Tabitha Thompson, Anthony Thompson, Hakeem Thompson, Javaree Bell, and Darrel Thompson, Jr.; several great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
