Ms. Essie M. Hamilton

Ms. Essie M. Hamilton of Tampa, Florida passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024. 

Essie Hamilton was born December 27, 1946, and was a native of Tampa, Florida all of her life.  She attended and graduated from Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1964.  While at Blake High School, she was a member of the Yellow Jackets Tennis Team, voted Most Popular of her senior class, and was the Class Treasurer.  She was employed as a CNA in Tampa, Florida, and worked at numerous nursing home facilities.  Essie was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Essie was preceded in death by: her parents, Bennie Williams, Sr. and Sadie Williams; and her brothers, Bennie Williams Jr. and Johnnie (Bubba) Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Tawni A. Addison, Deveren K. Addison Sr. and Terrence D. Addison; grandchildren, Rodney Addison Sr. (Shayla), Valerie Conyers, Jasmine Conyers, and Keith Addison (Vanessa); great-grandchildren, Radeja Addison, Rodney Addison Jr., Rashaad Addison, and Amiyah Fedrick; nieces, Vickie Willams-Johnson, Tara Earl (Reggie), Tanya Jennings, Lelia Williams-Nwabunor, Megan Williams-Durham (Marquis), Jennifer Williams, and Alicia Moore (Apoleon); and a host of cousins and other relatives.
