Ms. Evora Bernice Lynn Cooper Obituary

Ms. Evora Bernice Lynn Cooper of Tampa, FL passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, 3:00 p.m. at Exciting Faith Alive, 5705 E. 32nd Avenue, Tampa, FL 33619, Pastor Antonio Hawkins, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Evora Lynn Bernice Cooper was born on December 9, 1961, in Tampa Florida to Lonnie Cooper and Aileane Cooper. Evora graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1979. She was not afraid of long work hours and did what it took to take care of her family. Evora worked 16 hours a day for 12 years while holding down 2 full-time jobs; one at Hillsborough County School Board and the other at St. Joseph Hospital where she worked a total of 24 consecutive years. She enjoyed playing bingo, dancing, watching African cultural movies, and most of all laughing.

She was preceded in death by: her mother, Aileane Cooper; father, Lonnie Cooper; brother, Milo Cooper; daughter, LeKenya Cooper; step-son, Devon Nobles; grandmother, Willie Mae Moten; grandfather, George Earl Watkins Sr.; step-grandfather, Sylvester Moten Jr.; aunts, Joyce Poole, and Bertha Malcolm Cooper; uncles, Andrew Jackson, Johnny Murray, Carlton Cooper, Robert Cooper Sr., and Lee Ellis Green; cousins, Ricky Williams, Robert Cooper Jr., Synthia Moten, Marlon Moten, and Michelle Green; and former husband, Earnest Nobles.

Evora leaves precious memories with: her son, Mario Nobles; grandchildren, Kendrick Blackmon, Jamar Blackmon, Omari Blackmon, Shamar Blackmon, Zeniya Nobles, Janiyah Robinson, and Kenneth Sampson Jr.; stepchildren, Earnest Nobles Jr., Anthony Nobles, Timothy Nobles, Earnesia Nobles, Octavius Grayson, and Lakesha Grayson; aunt, Juanita Yeoman; uncle, George Earl Watkins Jr.; brother, Kenneth Cooper; nieces, Bianca Cooper, Verdell Cooper, and Kike Cooper; cousins, Karla Cooper, Karen Cooper, Carlton Cooper Jr., Terri McCree, Towanda Cooper, Charlene Moten, Rodney Moten, Darren Moten, Zeron Hall, Carlene Pearson, Yolanda Pearson-Robinson, Timothy Jackson Selena Jackson, Marc Jackson, Nicole Jackson-Campbell, Kieve McCloud, Jamarcus Lucas, Johnny Miller, Brandy Buie, and Cedric Buie; other relatives, The Cooper, Nobles, Green, and Kelly Families; and special friends, Calbert Clare, Donna Harrington, Jackie Riggins, Patricia Davis, Cheryl Mack, Belinda Mack, Winsome Campbell, Clark, and Chris.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
