It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Mrs. Georgianna “Ann” Warren, who was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 28, 2025. Homegoing services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at Northside Missionary Baptist Church, 5706 N. 40th Street, Tampa, FL 33610, with Minister Robert House, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL.
Mrs. Georgianna Warren, born on July 11, 1947, was a native of Tampa for 77 years. She attended Howard W. Blake High School and was a long-term employee of Charter Hospital and Ramada Inn in which she retired.
She was a woman of faith, strong and dedicated mother and grandmother who loved cooking, dancing and spending time with family (especially her sister Willie Mae). Ann had a big heart, and her generosity knew no bounds. Although feisty she was a beacon of kindness and love that will forever reside in the hearts of those that were blessed to know her. While our hearts mourn physical loss, we find comfort knowing that her spirit lives on and she’s resting in the arms of the Lord.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Ricky (Nancy); daughters, Tondelayo and Lisa; sisters, Willie Mae (Major) and Sandra; grandchildren, Moniquea (Roshad), Melexia (Toby), Adrianna, Dominic, Chemetria, Miguel and Kiara; great- grandchildren, whom she helped raise, Roshad Jr. and A’oki; a nephew, who was like a son, Major Jr.; and a host of additional great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
Arrangements entrusted to Ray Williams Funeral Home, Rhodes & Northern, Owners.
