Ms. Geraldine Janet Christmas

It is with heavy hearts that we sadly announce the passing of Geraldine Janet Christmas. A devoted and beloved Mother, Grandmother and Sister sadly passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, to be with our Heavenly Father. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 with Pastor Donald Lott, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Geraldine Christmas was born on April 13, 1977, in Tampa Florida to the late Peggy Patricia Ann Harris and Billy Christmas. Geraldine was a strong black woman of faith who always kept her head high and never gave up in life no matter the trials and tribulations or circumstances she was faced. Geraldine was a great loving and caring mother of 7 beautiful kids and 3 grandchildren who were her reasons she lived and did any and everything she could for them in life. Geraldine enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and loved watching them learn and grow throughout life. As she would always say, “As long as my children are good then I’m great!”

She will be sadly missed and always remembered as a great mother and grandmother as she leaves her great-loving cherished memories and legacy behind them.

She is preceded in death by: her two sons, Kenneth Washington III, and Kevon Christmas; mother, Peggy Patricia Ann Harris; father, Billy Christmas; grandmother, Geraldine Jones; and grandfather, Willie Jones.

Geraldine leaves her cherished legacy and memories with: her children, Keonte Christmas, Kevianna Christmas, Keyshawn Washington, Kelvin Washington, and Kamyiah Christmas; 3 grandchildren, Kayleigh Christmas, Milani Washington, and Kai’suhn Washington; sister, Latamika Jones; brother, Alfred Parham Jr.; aunts, Wanda Watson and Nazaline Smith; cousin, Dr. Peggy Patricia Ann Singleton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
