Ms. Kai Lovett Obituary

Ms. Kai Lynn Lovett of Tampa, FL, passed away Monday, January 8,2024. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Pilgrims Rest M.B. Church, 4202 W. Nassau Street, Tampa, FL 33607 with Pastor Nathaniel Johnson, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Ms. Kai Lynn Lovett was a native of Frankfurt, Germany, and a resident of Tampa for 53 years. She attended H.B. Plant High School and was a faithful God-fearing and fervently praying woman. She was employed as a Quality Control Analyst at Amalie Oil Company.

She was preceded in death by: her Mother and Father, Marjorie LaJoyce Lovett and Andrew Lovett Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her beloved children, Barbara Ford (Brandon) and David Lovett; adored grandchildren, Eli and Lekai Lovett, and Braelynn Ford; loving sisters, Felecia Lovett, and Andrea Lovett-Clemons (James); endeared nephews and nieces like children, Mark Hepburn (Tereka), Mario Lovett Sr. (Sherri), Darryl Hepburn, Rudolph Corey Crawford (Erica), Ashley Hepburn, Ryan Crawford, Marjorie Hepburn-Godbolt (Thomas II), Gloria Lovett (Willie Sr.), Amad Hepburn, and Kierra Brown; her precious great-nieces and great-nephews, Mario Jr., Sianah, Trystyn, Da’vion, Skye, Rynisea, Tomanice, Thomar, Thomon, Tailyn, Thomas III, Willie Jr., Khloe, Jace, Nyla, DeMarco III, and Aria; other special relationships include, loving and lifelong friend, Linda Donaldson; treasured fiancée, Taunja Hamilton; in-“law”, Cedric Brown; very near and dear cousins, Theodore Johnson Jr. (Doris), and family, Adria (Buttons) Webb, Johnny Johnson (Rebecca) and family, Gail Kelly and family; Heart-felt friends, Ida Melendez, Angela (Nookie) Walton, Felecia Tucker, Ryan Lang, Twanda Cummings, Roshanda Mitchell, Lucy Walker, Ariel Jenkins, Oliver Holiday; and a host of cherished and beloved friends including, the Smith Family, the Bailey Family, the Green Family, the Walker Family, the Anthony Family, the Jenkins Family, the Alburry Family, the Phillips Family, the Ford Family, and the Amalie Oil Company Family (special colleague Marvin Evins).

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
