Ms. Katherine Lane

Ms. Katherine Lane of Tampa, FL passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at Travail and Triumph Deliverance Center, 1509 E. Northbay Street, Tampa, FL 33610. Bishop-Designate Otis B. Cooper, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Katherine Lane was born June 8, 1938, in Jakin, Georgia to Margaret Young and Ernest Lane and moved to Tampa, FL in the 60’s. She worked many years at Manhattan Rehab Center where she retired. She loved people and enjoyed life head on.

She was preceded in death by: her 3 sisters, Lizzie Hunter, Minnie Clemons, and Mattie Lewis; and brothers, Robert Young, Lonnie Young, and Melvin Lane.

She leaves behind to mourn her passing: a host of nieces and nephews; as well great and great-great nieces and nephews; The Brown, Hunter, Young, Clemons, Lane, and Lewis families; and close friends. A special thanks to the staff of Central Park.

A visitation will be held Friday, November 17, 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL, 33606.
