Ms. LaQuanda Alishia Stephens

Ms. LaQuanda A. Stephens of Tampa, FL, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at True Life Community Worship Center, 7402 N. 56th Street Suite #600, Tampa, FL 33617 with Minister June Jones, Officiant/Eulogist. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
 
LaQuanda A. Stephens was a native of Florida and a resident of Tampa for 46 years. She attended Hillsborough County Schools and was a member of Temple AME Baptist Church. She was employed as a home health aide.
 
LaQuanda was preceded in death by: her children: Lance James Jr., and Cornecia Smile; Her Twin Sister, LaWanda Stephens; her Grandparents, Harold Gamble Sr., Beulah Lewis, and Leon and Carrie Stephens Her Aunts, Ruth Gamble, Pamela Stephens, and Helen Hayes; Her Uncles, John Lewis, Leroy, Lewis, and Calvin Stephens; and a host of other relatives.
 
LaQuanda leaves to cherish her precious memories: her daughters, NaKetar Hanford, and Shanekqwa Carr; son, Louis Carr Jr.; Godchildren, Flame, Max, Dre, Nyia,Bell, and Diamond; grandchildren, Chance James, Legend Trammell, Lacey James, Cornecia Palmore, and Kendriana Freeman; her mother, Leatha Gamble; father, Terry Stephens (Jeanette); brothers, Lonnie Gray Jr. (Tiffany), Terry Stephens Jr., Quentin Stephens, and Terry Stephens III; Special brother, Shawn; sisters, LaSandra Pedrosa, Brandi Coleman, Prestine Akiboh, Simone Johnson, Daisy Thomas, and Twila Daniels; aunties, Beryl, Mary, Lucille(Maya), June, Helenenor,JesseMae, Jackie, Gloria, Vivian, Nookie, Bridgett, and Carol; special uncle, AL; uncles, Oliver (Sharon), Preston, Harold, and Vincent; nephews, DaQuan, Rick, Quanzavious, Jaden, Zacchaeus, Daquan Jr., Rakiah, Spank, Yummie, Duke, Marri, Michael, Detrrico, Ledqun, Quentin, Quzay, Montrell, Jae, and Lil D.J.; nieces, Alesha, NuNu, Breiana, Tashari, Jadan, Myriaha, Reign, Kailah, Babydoll, Nia, Marley, Quenyla, Twaniesh, Tott, Tyrieal, Kasia, Raymesha, and RayShaonna; and a host of other sorrowing family and friends.
 
A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
