Ms. Linda Roundtree

Ms. Linda F. Roundtree of Tampa, FL passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, 2:30 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. The interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Linda F. Roundtree was born on May 19th, 1954, to the late Sarah and Rufus Roundtree Sr. in Statesboro, GA. She was raised in the Tampa Bay Area by the late Sarah and her stepfather, Raymond Norton. She excelled in her studies and extra-curricular activities: as a Ballerina and dancerette and graduated from Chamberlain High School as her class Valedictorian. She enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends. Linda retired from Northside Mental Center. She will be greatly missed.

Linda is preceded in death by: her son, Julius Brown; mother, Sarah Roundtree; father, Rufus Roundtree Sr.; stepfather, Raymond Norton; and brother, Rasool Hassan.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her sons, David G. Roundtree, and Elijah Bowden; sister, Deborah Norton; brother, David L. Roundtree; nieces, Chenoa Wright, and Tiffany Borders (Husband); nephew, Robert Singleton Jr.; great nieces, Ny’Jae Fiffe, Goddess Jackson, Myluv Jackson, Zariyonna Jackson, and Aja’leah Jackson; and a host of other family and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
