Ms. Marrie Williams of Tampa, FL, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at The Center for Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610, with Rev. Dr. Keith Haygood, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Ms. Marrie Williams was a native of Hillsborough and resident of Tampa for more than 70 years. She attended school in Barbour County. She was employed by Singleton Seafood for over 30 years.
She was genuinely loved by her family and friends. Despite the latest obstacles life presented, she persevered through the toughest times, with her close support system by her side. She always had a smile on her face and cherished her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and sisters. Additionally, she loved playing bingo.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Abner Hill; mother, Georgia Hill; husband, Johnny Williams; sisters, Rosa Dean, Lillie Mae, and Mary C.; brothers, Johnnie B., and Jimmie Lee; grandson, Kalvin Williams Sr.; son-in-law, Ivan Gamez; and nephew, Willie Hanes Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Johnnie Earl Williams; daughters, Doris Resto (Hiram), Sherry Goodwin, Joyce Williams (Arvin), Virginia Gamez, Cynthia Williams(Eddie), Jacqueline Williams, Latoya Williams (Deon); adopted daughters, Anna and Carzette Mosley; grandchildren, Katrina, William (Antoinette), Michael, Chauncey, Darius, Remiz, Taria, Diant’e, Kevin (Ameera), Alexis (Dontae), Javis, Jerome, Jazzmine, Solanda, Bridney, Lasheena, Barcelo, Antone’, Linda, Frankie, Jernia, Jasmine, Jivan, Jayden, and Aden; and a host of great-grandkids (67) great-great grandkids (9), nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
