Ms. Mary "Sol" Campbell Obituary

Ms. Mary Louise Lillie “Sol” Campbell of Tampa, FL passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. A Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 08, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33603.

A native of Tampa, FL and affectionately known as “Sol” within the original Tampa Park and Central Park communities, Mary Louise Lillie Campbell was born on January 29, 1945, and left this world as she lived in it, surrounded by the loving warmth of her family in Tampa, FL on January 01, 2025.

She was preceded in death by: her children, Raymond Campbell Jr., and Fredricka Campbell Patterson; parents, Frank Lillie, and Rose Lee Davis; sisters, Nettie Jean, Ruthie Mae, Eva Mae, and Rosa Lee; brothers, Clarence Earl, and Frank III; sister-in-law, Shelia Shaw Lillie; ex-husband, Raymond Campbell Sr.; and loving partner, Willie ’Gitt” Graham.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughters, Vontella Campbell Hodges (Ben), and Mary Graham Williams (Harold); sister, Juanita Lilly; brother, Leon Lillie; son-in-law, Eric Patterson Sr.; In-Laws, Charles Kindell Sr., Harold Jackson, and Carolyn Lilly; grandchildren, Eureka Patterson, Eric Patterson Jr., Ebony Patterson, Harace Campbell, Sharron Paris Jr., Ciara Campbell, Cody Campbell, and Shonkeria Graham Wallace (Quinton); a host of great grandchildren and ONE great-great granddaughter, Malaya Fredricka Lagreera; TWO great-great grandsons, Jerome Amir Patterson and Montray Jerome Frederick Morales Patterson Jr.; nieces and nephews,  David Thomas Jr., Charles Kindell Jr., Ronald McCray, Sharon McCray, Georgina Bell (Gerald), Tanya Hamilton Fulton, Harriett Jackson, Tiffany Jackson, Ralph and Cody Valentia, Syblie Washington, Robert Williams Jr., Taronald Williams Sr., Earline Lillie, Rozaundra and Kenya Lilly, Angel Lillie Pendleton (Bernard), Diablo, Sheldon, Edward, Clarence, William, and Shalene and Lawrence Lillie; Life Loving Friend, Peanut, the Davis, Dixon, Showers, and Joyner families; and a host of additional loved nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
