Ms. Naomi Perry of Tampa, FL passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at New Progress M.B. Church, 3307 E. Shadowlawn Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610, with Rev. Larry Roundtree, Officiant/Eulogist, Pastor of New Mt. Zion M.B. Church. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Ms. Naomi Perry was a native of Shellman, GA and a resident of Tampa for 66 years. She attended Georgia Public Schools. She was employed at National Linen. Her favorite things to do were bowling, being around family, watching football (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), word searches, and playing games on her tablet. She loved the Lord and attended church services and programs. She was a faithful member of New Mount Zion M.B. Church. Ms. Perry was very nurturing and always made a way to be there for her family.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Ernest and Johnnie Mae Sneed; brothers, Joe Louis, Jimmy Sneed, and Ernest Sneed Jr.; sisters, Mary Alice Lowe and Rose Granes; daughter, Cherly Perry.
She was survived by: her devoted daughter, Mary A. Perry-Cromartie (Andre); five loving sons, Alonzo Sneed (Christine), Joseph C. Perry Jr. (Julie), Thomas A. Perry (Linda), David C. Perry (Alicia) and Devonte Perry; sisters, Jannie Wilson of Tampa, FL, Thelma George and Johnnie Gallon of Rockledge, FL; special niece, Bonnie Hamilton (Charles); three sisters-in-laws, Mary Bankston, Shirley Sneed, and Gwen Sneed; and a host of grandkids, great grand, nieces, great great grands, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends and church members.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
