Mrs. Pearlie Mae Proctor of Tampa, FL passed away Friday, December 9, 2022.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive AME Church, 1902 W. LaSalle Street, Tampa, FL 33607 with Rev. Gregory V. Gay Sr., Officiating.  Interment to be held on Monday, December 19, 2022, in Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102 Avenue Bushnell FL 33513. MASK RECOMMENDED.

Mrs. Pearlie Mae Proctor was a resident of Tampa, Florida for 95 years.  She attended Hillsborough County Schools and was a member of Mt. Olive AME Church.  She was employed as an Occupational Therapist at Easter Seals.

She was preceded in death by: her sister, Rositta Washington; and brother, Elmore Sims Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memory:  her husband, James Proctor; daughter, Gail Jones (Claudette); son, Robert Johnson II (Joy); grandchildren, Cleopatra Harrington (Dana), Lateca Simmons (Quartures), Shaw Johnson (Wife), Terraiya Johnson, Robert Johnson III (Alya), Tammy Harris, and Carlos Battle (Chlisa); great grandchildren, Cornell Martin Jr, Dana Jr, Davontae, Deontae, and Drew Harrington, Shawnice Johnson, and Quincy Simmons; nephew, Alfonso Thomas; cousins, Dr. Mikki Chambers (Herb), Ivan Gay (Marcia), Gloria Sims (Clarence), Y’yony Redd (James), K’Asony, Q’uony, and Elmore Jr; other relatives, Dawne Hill (Robert), Vanessa Adams, Waynel Forte, and Lynette Reid (Robin); and a host of  other family and friends.

The visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue Tampa, FL 33606. MASK RECOMMENDED.
