Ms. Rosetta Nellon

Rosetta Marie Nellon of Tampa, FL passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, 2204 N. Highland Avenue Tampa FL 33602, with Pastor Levi Stevenson, Officiating, Pastor Darrell Condry of Love and Faith Fellowship, Bronx, NY, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. MASK RECOMMENDED.

Rosetta Marie Nellon was born March 1, 1955, to the late Tillman Sr. and Maple Bennett Nellon in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was educated in Hillsborough County Schools.

Rosetta had a genuine love for her children and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rosetta also had a natural green thumb and a love for flowers.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; father, Tillman Nellon Sr.; mother, Maple Bennett Nellon; brother, Walter Nellon; and great niece, Nylah Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memories: the love of her life of 45 years, her husband, James Noles; two daughters, Sabrina Pope, and Brenda Highsmith (Ronald); son, Pastor Darrell Condry; stepdaughter, Shewanda Davis Johnson (Marco); stepson, Dwan Kilgore (Michelle); thirteen grandchildren, Eugene Hicks III (Shanique), Terrance Condry, El’tyneshia Foster, Quantiara Hicks, Quanderious Condry, Keldrin Pope, Jasmine Williams, Ayanna Wyche, Heaven Stevenson, Makayla Johnson, Shelise Johnson, Edward Lee Lindsay III, and Zariyah Anderson; 12 great grandchildren, Eugene Hicks IV, Kengie Condry, Keyonni Pope, Mickenzie Condry, Taliah Willis, Anthony Willis, Jaziah Willis, Alyria Hicks, Ariel Brooks, Aubriel Brooks, Brelynn Barnes, Kela Pope, and Micah Washington;  seven sisters, Jeanette Bacon, Bettie Goldsmith, Arlinda Nellon, Lois Nellon, Sandra Nellon, Pinkie Nellon, and Carolyn Graham (Ronald); three brothers, Tillman Nellon Jr., Raymond Nellon (Denise), and Johnny Nellon (Talanda); sisters-in-law, Nevonn Harris, Daisy Palmer, Annie Tulloch (Raphael), and Mary Noles; nieces, Tammy Bacon, Debra Limehouse, Tanya Nellon, Dr. Renessa Williams, Remishia Spain (Kenny), Latoya Coleman (Marc), Lakaishia Tim, Shavonda Phillips, Lequita Westbrooks (Daniel), Ebony Burt, Sheena Nellon, and Laquetta Nellon; nephews; Russell Goldsmith (Doris), Kelvin Goldsmith, Christopher Woodward (Yetta), Michael Nellon, Darrick Andrews, Hadari Perry, Timothy Brister, and Brandon Nellon; godsons, Adrian Shaw, and Donald Bowens II; special friends, Vivian Boone, Lewis Roberts, Derrick Jackson, John Sparks, and Tony Hayes; and a host of other sorrowing nieces, nephews, family, and friends.  

The visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue Tampa, FL 33606. MASK RECOMMENDED.
