Ms. Sandra Lockett

Ms. Sandra A. Lockett passed away on September 7, 2022.  Funeral Service celebrating her life will be Saturday, September 24, 2022, 11:00 am, at Southside Baptist Church, Pastor Kerry Nance, Officiating.

Ms. Lockett is survived by: her loving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brother, and a host of loving relatives and friends. 

“The most desirable flower is picked from the garden. God was ready for our mom, and we know that she is rejoicing in heaven with Him right now.”

He Only Takes the Best

God saw she was getting tired, and a cure was not to be

So, He put His arms around her, and whispered “Come with me.”

With tearful eyes we watched her fade away.

Although we loved her deeply, we could not make her stay.

Your golden heart stopped beating; hardworking hands put to rest

God broke our hearts to prove to us

He only takes the best.
