Ms. Sarah Frances Johnson

Mrs. Sarah F. Johnson of Tampa, FL passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Keeney Chapel United Methodist Church, 7736 Destin Drive, Tampa, FL 33619, with Rev. Valerie Goddard, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue.

Mrs. Sarah F. Johnson was a native of Crawfordville, GA until the age of eight, then relocated to Augusta, GA. She attended Lucy Craft Laney High School in Augusta, GA. She has been a resident of Tampa for 70 years. She was employed as a Certified Nursing Aide at Tampa General Hospital for 29 years. She was a member of Tyer Temple and Keeney Chapel United Methodist Church and served on several committees including the Choir, Sunday School Teacher, Acolyte Assistant, Communion Steward, United Methodist Women/Keeney Chapel Women in Faith, Usher Board, Sick and Shut-In Committee, Clothes Closet Member, Feed the Homeless, Children Home/Youth Camps, Hospitality Committee, Outreach and Prayer Ministries, and Bible Class.

She leaves to cherish her memories with: her daughters, Jasmine Roberson, Sonya Johnson, and Jennifer Saunders; grandchildren, Telvis Roberson, Johnnie Roberson III, Roshawn Roberson, Alexander Saunders, Tyler Rae Taylor, and Destiny Johnson; great grandchildren, Eric Roberson, Robert Sherman, and Chyanne Roberson; great great grandchildren, Isabella Sherman and Kiana Roberson; and a host of family members, friends, coworkers, neighbors, doctors, nurses, patients, and even the police department to cherish her memory. She loved people and gave her all.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
