Ms. Sarah Abdullah Bagley

Today, we pause to honor and pay tribute to the life and legacy of Sarah Abdullah Bagley. She completed her earthly journey on Tuesday morning, May 27, 2025.  A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, 10:00 a.m. Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 East Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL, with Dr. Thomas Dozier, Eulogist, and Dr. Clovis Dunbar, cousin, officiating.

Sarah, a bundle of joy, was born February 10, 1982, to Louis C. Bagley Sr. and the late Gennice Alcendor. Sarah was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from Tomlinson Adult Learning Center, St. Petersburg, Florida. She also matriculated and graduated from the Carl D. Perkins Job Corps Center located in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.

Sarah moved to St. Petersburg with her mother, and from there she moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, and remained there for over ten years.  No matter where she was located, she would always keep in touch with her father. Sarah was a daddy’s girl. Sarah was named after her grandmother, Sarah Jones Graham, and grandfather Jack B. Bagley Sr. (Badr Abdullah), and was called "my girl" by her father.  Sarah had a beautiful smile and was very photogenic.  She loved looking good, and styling her hair was one of her passions.

Loved ones gone before her include: her mother, Gennice Alcendor; grandmothers, Martha Marshall Jones and Josephine Whittingham Bagley; grandfathers, Jack B. Bagley Sr. (Badr Abdullah), Johnnie Jones Sr. and Wallace Bagley; step-grandfather, Israel Graham (Hoss);  aunts, Mary Martha Figgers Cochran, Alberta Jones Pease, Jacquelyn Bagley Glispie and Josephine Margarett Bagley Brady; infant uncle, John D. Bagley; uncles, Louis C. Anderson, James D. Jones, Johnnie Jones Jr., Minister Joseph R. Jones, William A. Dunbar Sr., and Wallace Bagley Jr.

Rest in Jesus arms Sarah, you will never leave the hearts of: your children, Elijah Bagley, Aaliyah Bagley and Anastasia Bagley; your father, Louis C. Bagley Sr. and his wife Gail; your grandmother, Sarah Jones Graham; your sisters, Natosha Bagley, April Bagley and Tori-Gennie Bagley; your brothers, Pastor Chad Bagley and his wife Jasmin and Louis C. Bagley Jr,; your aunts, Ferristine Goldwire, Gennie C. Bagley and Wanda L. Bagley; your uncles, Jack D. Bagley Jr., William T. Bagley and his wife Kristie, and John A. Bagley (Bobbie), together with nieces, nephews, cousins and many whose lives you touched.
