Ms. Tanya Patrice Caldwell-Yates of West Tampa, FL passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at St John Cathedral Church, 3401 Bishop Eddie Newkirk Way, Tampa, FL 33605. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Tanya Patrice Caldwell -Yates was born August 11,1959. She was a native of Tampa, FL, raised in West Tampa. She was known as “Trece”. She attended Hillsborough County schools. She was a loving person and the glue to the family. She lived her life to the fullest with no regrets.
Tanya was preceded in death by: her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Caldwell; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carrington; sisters, Elaine and Debra-Ann; mother-in-law, Willie Mae; sisters-in-law, Mary, Valerie, and Patricia; and brothers-in-law, Willie James, and Willie Floyd.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories: her husband, Ronald Yates; loving and caring children, Shayla (Rontavious), Reshard Jarron (Jamesa), and Shaniqua (EJ); grandchildren, Charles, Shakayla, Jamesha, Marianna, Chamariah, Jamell Jr., Jayden, Alandria, Jarron Jr., Ja’kela, Cameron, Ja’rhia, Deontae, Reshona, Sharnisha, Mar’Jae, Reshara, Ja’haad, Reshawn, and Reshard Jr.; sister, Twanda Caldwell; Sister-in-law, Marie; brothers, Williams Caldwell (Adrienne), Donald Caldwell (Deborah), and Terrance Jenkins (Lisa); bother-in law, Daniel; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and along time devoted friend, Gail Carrie.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
