Ms. Tyneisha “Nuke” Burroughs, a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2511 E. Columbus Drive, Tampa, FL 33605, with Pastor Larry Roundtree, II, Officiating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, FL 33610.
Tyneisha “Nuke” Burroughs was born on July 31, 1989, in Tampa, FL, to the loving union of Tyrone Burroughs and Yolanda Washington.
Tyneisha received her education in the Hillsborough County Public School system, graduating from H.B. Plant High School, Class of 2008. She was employed with Wipro Health Plan Services, Inc., for over 10 years, recently receiving a promotion. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with family but, most importantly, providing and being a nurturing mother to her 2 children, Zachary “Ziggy” Green and JMyla “JMoney” Williams.
She was preceded in death by: her brother, Dexter Gardner; grandmother, Chattie Martin; uncles, Willie Earl Martin Sr. and Dan Coleman; and aunts, Irma Martin and Danielle “Pepper” Hardy.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Zachary “Ziggy” Green and JMyla “JMoney” Williams; parents, Tyrone Burroughs and Yolanda Washington; grandmother, Lula Warren; siblings, Lashandra Washington, Shekela Burroughs, Starretha Burroughs, Tyrone Burroughs, and Cherelle Burroughs; nieces and nephews, DeZani, D’Muni, Tyreana, Markila, Bailey, Audrey, Rolando, Marquis, Rufus, Leroy, Devaris, Price, and Kengie; aunts and uncles, Valerie Sampson, Elizabeth Cannon (Stacy), Ernestine Spivey, Felicia Freeman-Sampson, Denita Smith, Geraldine Stevens (Robert Lee), Ella Sallins (James Sr.), Bella Burroughs, Valeria Battle, Harry Warren (Audrey); Donald Washington, Ronald Washington, Jarrod Hardy (Chloe), Alvin Hardy, James Martin, Jr. (Mattie), Charles Martin, Johnny Floyd Martin, and Andra Martin; bestie, Rontavia Bush; fav, Donisha “Tiny” Washington; god sister, Santella Franklin; and a host of other family members.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
