Ms. Wanda Turner

Ms. Wanda Gail Tuner of Tampa, FL passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens, 4025 W. Palmetto Street, Tampa, FL 33607 with Pastor Anthony Greene, Officiating. The interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Ms. Wanda Gail Tuner was a native of Tampa. She was educated through the Hillsborough County Public School System.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Leroy and Margaret Turner Sr.; and sister, Brenda Turner.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her longtime companion, George Watkins; children, Dwayne Turner, Derrick Turner, Dwight Turner, and Dale Turner; grandchildren, DeAndre Joseph Turner, Akachi Christian Turner, Mario Palacio, Deyonna Turner, Dwight Turner Jr., Diara Turner, Veronica, and Deja Turner; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Leroy (Joyce) Turner Jr.; sisters, Barbarba Henderson, and Cheryl (Tony) Bryant Jr.; nephews, Cornelius Washington III (Brionne), Derald (Sharisse) Turner, Oscar Hill, Tony (Ericka) Bryant III, and Trevor (Ondrea) Bryant; nieces, Kiva (Efren) Duff, Torya Hill, Tiffany (Eugene) Felder, Tracie Jenkins, Socanda (Gregory) Thomas, Soranda (Antonio) Escalante, Marcia Turner, and Erica Turner; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, and loving family and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
