Ms. Oneida Marie Barnes-Days of Tampa passed away Monday, January 27, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 8, at 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL.
Oneida was a native of Gainesville, Florida and a resident of Tampa for many years. She was educated by the public schools of Alachua County, and was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 1967. She furthered her education at Santa Fe College. Oneida was a devoted member of Emmanuel M. B. Church under the pastorate of the late Reverend Freddie Roberts, Jr.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Ozie and Ophelia Thompson-Days; and brother (twin), Ozie Days. She leaves to cherish her memory: three loving children, Joyce Renee Lewis, Lemuel Lewis, Jr., and Lynette Lewis; daughter-in-law, Dana Smith; grandchildren, Tia' Lewis (Rich), Xavier Lewis, Gevante Lewis, Emerald Lewis, and Daisa Lewis; great grandchild, Kaspian Randolph; aunt, Louise Lundy and family; siblings, Carol Linder, Conrad Days, Beverly Pridgen (Del), Sonya Days and Ronald Days; God daughter and nieces, Petunia "Lanita", Trivarner, Chassidy, Tannekka, Nikki, Amanda, Rena, Heather and Heavan; Godson, Clarence Farris; nephews, Isaac, Ozie (Frances), Aaron, Ozie Jr., Desmond, Timothy, Kareem, Robert, Reggie, Maurice, Marcus, Peter, Jordan, Hunter and Hayden; cousins, Dan & Terrol Richardson, Clarence Day (Lorria), Johnny Stanley, Sr., Shelly, Marvin, Mary, Louise, Peter, Lucille, Lashawn, Robin, Cynthia, Stephanie, Eric, T. J., Cedric, Chris, Terrel, Chauncey, and Devorrick; sister-in-law, Christine Martin; devoted friend/sister-in -Christ, Sylvia Silvey and Deacon Tony Terry (Gloria); and a host of great aunts, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, co-workers, students and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p.m. Friday, February 7 at Ray Williams Funeral Home.
