Owen Fitzgerald, Jr.

Owen Fitzgerald, Jr. was born on September 20, 1957 to Owen Sr. and Jacqueline Fitzgerald in Cleveland, Ohio.  He is the youngest of six children.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at a young age.

Owen graduated from John Adams High School, attended The Cleveland School of Arts, obtained his Associate Degree from Sawyer Business College and graduated from Cuyahoga Community College Police Academy.  He had a short career as a Paralegal, followed by over 30 years in Law Enforcement and Security. 

Owen developed a love for the theatre in high school.  After high school he continued his love for performance arts, by playacting in many theaters, including over 30 years at the East Cleveland Theater.  His greatest joy was performing in The Nutcracker, on the big stage, at The Playhouse Square Theater in Cleveland, OH.   

He was an avid artist, creating many, many beautiful drawings and Illustrations.  His hobbies included TV, Movies, and Comic Books.

He was preceded in death by:  his parents, Owen Sr. and Jacqueline Fitzgerald and brother, Dwight Owen.

He leaves to cherish his memories:  his wife, Robin of 27 years; his children, Owen IV, Courteney (stepdaughter), Barbara Jackie, and Jenna Marie; 3 grandchildren, Jaelun, Jada and Silas;  3 sisters,  Precious Burnett of Cleveland, OH, Gayle Robinson (Avery) of Tampa, FL, and Jewel Lewis of Murrieta, CA; 1 brother, Danny Fitzgerald (Juel) of North Randall, Ohio; brothers and sisters-in-law’s, Kazzie, Michelle and Samatha Burns of Cleveland, OH; mother-in-law, Barbara Burns of Bedford OH; God-daughter and niece, Kalena, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
