Patricia Canady

Ms. Patricia A. Canady passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Rev. Dr. Kendrix J. Gardner, Senior Pastor, New Friendship M.B. Church, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. MASK RECOMMENDED.

Ms. Patricia was a native of Oakfield, Georgia and a resident of Tampa, Florida for 65 years. She attended Robinson High School Class of 1974 and Hillsborough Community College. She was a member of The River at Tampa Bay Church and childhood member at New Friendship M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. H.L. Daniels. She was employed as a Medical Assistant.

She was preceded in death by: her mother, Cassie M. Jones; sisters, Janice Davis and Regina R. Jones; and brother, Terrell A. Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Angel B. Jones; grandson, Joshua Saint-Claude; father, Johnny B. Jones; brother, Johnny Jones (Sharon); sisters, Barbara J. Westry, and Sheree Parsons (Oliver); nieces, Ashanda Davis (Derek), Sonia Edwards (Omar), Dr. Solita Harris (Dwain), Jazyme Jones, Jordan Jones, and Antoinette Evans; nephews, David McCauley, Oscar McCauley, Willie J. Johnson, Cedric Davis, Johnny Jones, Jamal Jones, and Travis Jones (Kesha); uncles, Eddie W. Canady (Ollie), Robert L. Jones, Homer Jones, and Jimmie L. Jones; aunts, Dianne Jones, Louise Gaither of Texas, Ceola Jones of Louisiana, and Betty Smith of Georgia; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.  MASK RECOMMENDED.
